A core part of working here at Fluency is the opportunity to make a profound impact on virtually every aspect of our business—regardless of location. Spanning across 18 states—and counting—we’ve built quite the dynamic team and we want you to get to know them. That’s why we’ve created The Fluency Five, a five question blog series about what makes our employees special and what they love about working here.

Getting to know Erin Hipple: Senior Product Marketing Manager

1. What brought you to Fluency?: I had heard amazing things about Fluency from some former colleagues who had joined the company. Intrigued by their enthusiasm, I started following the business and its exciting developments. Serendipitously, a role for Product Marketing opened soon after. I jumped at the chance to apply, encouraged by those I trusted that were familiar with the business. It’s been an amazing journey so far.

2. What’s something interesting about what you do at Fluency?: At Fluency, I have the privilege of working cross-functionally to ensure that our products are not just innovative but also addressing real and meaningful challenges faced by our customers. I combine market insights, customer feedback, and competitive analysis with our team’s creative brilliance to deliver a unified narrative and winning go-to-market strategy.

3. In your opinion, what is the most interesting thing about Fluency?: The most interesting thing about Fluency has to be the people and their collective experiences. The team here has leveraged their learnings from past organizations to create an environment that is dynamic and collaborative. There’s a tangible sense of camaraderie, even in our remote work setup, which fosters an open and inclusive culture and is truly unique.

4. Can you tell us something personal about you?: I’m most calm and rejuvenated when I’m in nature. Forests, beaches, mountains, deserts - I love it all! Outside of work you can find me at a pilates class, traveling to new places, or spending time with family, friends, and animals.

5. What are you most looking forward to this year in your role and/or at the company?: Having spent a couple of months at Fluency, I’m looking forward to diving deeper into our product and engaging directly with our valued customers. Learning about their unique challenges and needs is at the core of our mission to deliver tailored solutions that address their pain points and scale their business. I’m also looking forward to continuing to collaborate with our teams and bring some exciting new products and features to market. Stay tuned!
