Advertising Engineer

Job Summary:

An Advertising Engineer is a highly technical digital advertising expert who also possesses the ability to navigate strategic, business-level interactions.  Serving as the main point of contact between Fluency and its Clients, Advertising Engineers are integral in delivering our unique world-class client experience. From an executional perspective, this position will be expected to be the main point of contact for priority properties, owning and managing the client relationship while also analyzing and optimizing said client’s digital marketing campaigns (Search, Social, Display) to deliver campaign performance at scale.

Our commitment to value-driven client service begins with the prioritization of; Ideation, Creativity, Relationships, and Strategy.  As such, Advertising Engineers curate the Fluency experience via: guiding clients through onboarding, structuring and managing key stakeholder relationships, and proactive implementation of Fluency value props at every level of the client business. The Advertising Engineer will also drive forth client’s business goals, solve for operational challenges leveraging the Fluency platform, and identify additional opportunities to maximize fluency’s impact on their business.

Advertising Engineers must possess a hybrid skill-set to include both operational and executional competencies. Operational competencies include, but are not limited to; the ability to nurture relationships with stakeholders up to the C-suite and down to property level, management of key projects / timelines, business strategy conversations, and cross-org collaboration.

External Role Duties:

  • Own post-onboarding client relationships at all levels within your client’s organization, from the property level up to the corporate marketing team level.
  • Conduct and lead strategy calls, weekly syncs, ongoing training with clients and their end clients (Property Managers).
  • Leverage Fluency platform to execute advertising and analyze performance, while also proposing and executing improvements across various advertising channels.
  • Identify, recommend, and support opportunities for client growth and improvement, to include; strategy, performance, and business efficiency
  • Help clients build and refine various complex advertising strategies.
  • Deeply understand your client’s business, financial and operational profiles.
  • Provide expert Fluency consultation and train users on how to leverage Colab
  • Potential travel once per quarter

Internal Role Duties:

  • Work in tandem with Enterprise team members to fully support our clients and ensure client retention and growth where possible
  • Develop and execute client specific engagement strategy
  • Create and manage tickets on customer issues and platform feature requests from submission to resolution.
  • Articulate client growth opportunities / strategy, revenue insights, etc.
  • Play an active role in internal process creation and refinement and contribute towards product ideation.
  • QA new releases and provide actionable feedback to the Fluency products organization.

Senior Digital Advertising Strategist

Job Summary:

The Senior Digital Advertising Strategist is an experienced digital advertiser with hands-on campaign management experience who will support Fluency’s shared pool of accounts while also supporting Advertising Engineers and Advertising Architects as they work with Fluency’s Managed & Unmanaged clients to achieve the clients goals. The Digital Strategist assists with many aspects of the client relationship such as making campaign optimizations and updates to Google and Facebook Ads’ campaigns, making ppc campaign strategy recommendations, handling incoming client requests, and troubleshooting technical issues.

External Role Duties:

  • Respond directly to client requests and communication
  • Leverage Fluency platform to manage digital advertising campaigns, analyze performance, and execute optimizations on a host of channels including but not limited to Google Ads, GDN, Google Shopping, Facebook, Instagram, Microsoft, YouTube
  • Proactively make recommendations to clients to improve strategy, performance, and business efficiencies
  • Have a firm understanding of client goals, objectives and key performance indicators (KPI)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Facebook Marketing API integration to lead the development, management, and optimization of our connection to the Facebook Marketing API. This role is critical in ensuring seamless data flow, maintaining data integrity, and enabling advanced advertising functionality within our platform. The ideal candidate is an expert in API development, particularly within the Facebook Marketing ecosystem, with a proven track record of at least 5 years of hands-on experience working directly with the Facebook Marketing API.

Your work will play a pivotal role in enhancing Fluency’s digital advertising platform by enabling more advanced data analysis, campaign automation, and strategic insights driven by Facebook Marketing data.

This is a full-time, remote position, but we also have a Burlington, VT office for those who prefer an in-person working environment.

Your Role:

Job Summary:

The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer has two areas of focus.  First, this position requires a strong mind for software development and works closely with product and engineering partners to build best-in-class quality software.  You must be able to manage ideas, timelines and deliverables in a startup environment with aggressive deadlines.  Second, this position works on the release side to help code automated tests that prevent bugs from being released live and minimize inbound issues.  This position helps the company manage risk through writing functional code tests that help find code problems early.  You will collaborate with the Engineering team and distribute the task load to the optimal engineer for fixes that are appropriate to hand off.   The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with great communication skills and who can drive ideas and execution while helping further software reliability and QA discipline.

Your Role:

  • Lead and support efforts to conduct manual testing of features and releases.
  • Build automated functional and regression testing.
  • Create and maintain test plans for new and existing features.
  • Perform stress and load testing of applications.
  • Keep the team updated on the status of release and communicate obstacles and testing risks.
