Senior Digital Advertising Strategist

Job Summary:

An Advertising Engineer is a highly technical digital advertising expert who also possesses the ability to navigate strategic, business-level interactions.  Serving as the main point of contact between Fluency and its Clients, Advertising Engineers are integral in delivering our unique world-class client experience.

Our commitment to value-driven client service begins with the prioritization of; Ideation, Creativity, Relationships, and Strategy.  As such, Advertising Engineers curate the Fluency experience via: supporting internal stakeholders through the onboarding of new clients, structuring and managing key client stakeholder relationships, and proactive implementation of Fluency value props at every level of the client business. The Advertising Engineer will also drive forth client’s business goals, solve for operational challenges leveraging the Fluency platform, and identify additional opportunities to maximize fluency’s impact on their business.

Advertising Engineers must possess a hybrid skill-set to include both operational and executional competencies. Operational competencies include, but are not limited to; the ability to nurture relationships with stakeholders up to the C-suite, management of key projects / timelines, business strategy conversations, and cross-org collaboration.  From an executional perspective, the Advertising Engineer is capable of building, managing, analyzing, and optimizing our client’s digital marketing campaigns (Search, Social, Display) to deliver campaign performance at scale.

External Role Duties:

  • Support the Advertising Architect in client onboardings.
  • Own post-onboarding client relationships at all levels within your client’s organization.
  • Help clients  refine various complex advertising strategies via our platform capabilities.
  • Deeply understand your client’s business, financial and operational profiles.
  • Identify, recommend, and support opportunities for client growth and improvement, to include; strategy, performance, and business efficiency
  • Provide expert Fluency consultation and train users on how to leverage the Fluency platform (tactically + operationally)
  • Leverage Fluency platform to execute advertising and analyze performance, while also proposing and executing improvements across various advertising channels.
  • Conduct and lead strategy calls, weekly syncs, ongoing training and QBRs with clients.
  • Potential travel once per quarter

Internal Role Duties:

  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-org stakeholders to report on client issues/problems/requests/sentiment.
  • Develop and execute client specific engagement strategy
  • Create and manage tickets on customer issues and platform feature requests Able to articulate client growth opportunities / strategy, revenue insights, etc.
  • Contribute towards product ideation.
  • Provide actionable feedback to the Fluency products organization.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum (5) years hands on paid media experience
  • Experience communicating with C-Level executives

Senior Product Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Product Manager is a natural collaborator that has a deep understanding of technical product management and a strong business acumen. The Senior Product Manager is a future focused thought leader that can articulate the overall product strategy, and work with cross-functional teams to align on outcomes, metrics for success and prioritization. As the Senior Product Manager you will work closely with the executive team to innovate business opportunities by anticipating market trends then executing strategically and efficiently. The right person for this role can identify business value, solve complex problems, concisely articulate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders and ultimately drive results.

Your Role:  

  • Coordinate with the Chief Product Officer and Vice President of Product on the vision, strategy and execution for ongoing product evolution
  • Perform market research to evaluate and prioritize product opportunities based on business objectives like lowering customer acquisition cost, scaling revenue growth, or accelerating revenue recognition
  • Institute and manage best practices for incorporating qualitative user feedback into product development
  • Institute and manage best practices for incorporating quantitative data analytics into product development
  • Drive and measure user adoption at a feature level to accelerate iterative product evolution
  • Support the development and delivery of weekly and monthly milestones in the quarterly product plan
  • Contribute to revenue modeling and appropriate pricing strategies for product offerings
  • Drive effective adoption of new products and features through established marketing materials, internal and external and rollout plans
  • Be an internal leader and partner for understanding, articulating, and solving complex business problems related to platforms, systems, and infrastructure
  • Identify issues and blockers that may delay the launch or impede the success of projects
  • Work directly with technical leaders across the organization as a partner, helping to problem solve and ensure alignment with overall product vision and strategy
  • Communicate progress and strategic evolution regularly to senior executives
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the product development organization, focusing on quality, reliability, and the appropriate level of scalability

What We Look For:

  • 10+ years of product management experience with a focus on platforms and  systems and five plus years in digital advertising products, e-commerce, or relevant industry
  • Strategy and analysis experience, MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of building and launching products at scale
  • Ability to articulate strategy and define roadmap
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, prioritize and evaluate opportunistic ideas with internal and external partners

Triage Software Engineer

Team Overview:

We are looking for exceptionally ambitious and communicative hands-on individuals who are comfortable working with a dynamic team, experience working in a fast-paced environment, and who have the passion and skills to take our company to the next level.

Our Engineering division collaborates, and feeds on each other’s ideas in order to build leading edge products for our customers.The Fluency platform is built using a native AWS architecture.  We use JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS, Java, Spring Boot, Aurora, S3, Elastic Beanstalk along with whatever else makes sense for the job at hand.

Job Summary:  

The Triage Engineer handles incoming issues by performing a forensic analysis on code to determine the cause, then coding basic fixes.  You'll collaborate with Client Services as well as the Engineering team as a whole and distribute tasks to the optimal engineer for resolution.  You will also work on the release side to help code automated tests that prevent bugs from being released live.  You will write functional code tests that will proactively find code problems helping to mitigate risk.

Your Role:

  • Triage incoming bugs that couldn’t be solved by support
  • Plan and execute fixes against problems received
  • Perform stress and load testing of applications
  • Use modern infrastructure tools and platforms to automate our systems
  • Solve challenging problems working with large dataset transformations
  • Work with Client Services to troubleshoot in-bound issues from clients and internal teams
