Job Summary:
An Advertising Engineer position is one that is highly technical and involves working directly with our Clients and the Fluency Team. This includes launching clients on our platform and managing and monitoring them ongoing. An Advertising Engineer is core to our client relationships. The ability to be technical, project manage, QA, code, multitask, teach and build relationships is key to the position.
External Role Duties:
- Establish post sale relationships with points of contact.
- Educate users how to leverage the Fluency platform and then help them to it.
- Help clients adapt old and new advertising strategies for the Fluency platform.
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise - escalate issues to engineering team.
- Travel to meet with clients, up to 25 percent, but typically less, we do not travel in the current COVID world.
- Conduct scheduled meetings including QBRs
Internal Role Duties:
- Report back to all internal stakeholders on client issues/problems/requests/sentiment.
- Manage tickets on customer issues..
- Contribute to onboarding guide/best practices.
- Contribute to existing ‘how to’ guides for Fluency platform products and features.
- Contribute to internal process documentation.
- Identify KPIs to monitor the success of clients' post Fluency platform adoption (client
- retention rate, client employee retention rate, increased ad budgets, advertising budgets etc.)

Job Summary:
The Product Marketing Manager is a natural collaborator that has a deep understanding of technical product marketing along with strong business acumen. You will shape key messages that showcase the value of Fluency both internally and externally. Duties include overall market research, strategy, ideation and full execution of go-to-market feature updates as Fluency continues to evolve. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for enhancing our existing product messaging and introducing new insights by consistently communicating the product’s unique value through marketing efforts to various audiences.
Role Duties:
- Create marketing assets that outline the value proposition of our product at a feature level. Example - product guide, sales playbook and case studies
- Drive increased adoption and engagement from current customers through improved product marketing
- Coordinating with Product Management to ensure the product is thematically aligned with and working toward market opportunities
- Articulate and convey Fluency’s competitive differentiators, both internally and externally
- Collaborate with business development, product engineers, marketing and channel partners to understand and anticipate evolving needs and wants of clients and future users
- Know the user and seek actionable user insights to inform product and marketing strategy.
- Represent and advocate for the user to cross-functional stakeholders

Job Summary:
The Digital Advertising Strategist is an experienced digital advertiser with hands-on campaign management experience who will support Fluency’s shared pool of accounts while also supporting Advertising Engineers and Advertising Architects as they work with Fluency’s Managed & Unmanaged clients to achieve the clients goals. The Digital Strategist assists with many aspects of the client relationship such as making campaign optimizations and updates to Google and Facebook Ads’ campaigns, making ppc campaign strategy recommendations, handling incoming client requests, and troubleshooting technical issues.
External Role Duties:
- Respond directly to client requests and communication
- Leverage Fluency platform to manage digital advertising campaigns, analyze performance, and execute optimizations on a host of channels including but not limited to Google Ads, GDN, Google Shopping, Facebook, Instagram, Waze, Microsoft, YouTube
- Proactively make recommendations to clients to improve strategy, performance, and business efficiencies
- Have a firm understanding of client goals, objectives and key performance indicators (KPI)
- Create reports to communicate strategic activities and performance improvements at scale
Internal Role Duties:
- Work with other Digital Strategists to ensure that Fluency’s shared pool of clients are properly supported
- Work directly with Advertising Engineers & Advertising Architects to ensure strategy alignment and execution of client goals
- Leverage Fluency to execute digital advertising campaigns at scale on multiple channels
- Manage incoming tickets and tasks
- Troubleshoot technical issues and validate system bugs
- QA new releases and Provide useful feedback to the Fluency products organization

The Fluency platform is built using a native AWS architecture. We use RDS/MySQL, Java, Spring Boot, Elastic Beanstalk, JavaScript, Vue.js, S3 along with whatever else makes sense for the job at hand.

This Software Engineer position is full time remote. We have a Burlington, VT office as well. This position works closely with the entire engineering team and key stakeholders across the company to execute our strategic priorities. A Senior Software Engineer has strong leadership skills and is able to self direct. This position requires self management, including self learning, with the ability to write the best possible code while guiding others on best practices. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker that is highly motivated to execute and capable of wearing multiple hats every day.

A Day in the Life:
The Triage Engineer handles incoming issues by performing a forensic analysis on code to determine the cause then coding basic fixes. You'll collaborate with the Engineering team as a whole and distribute tasks to the optimal engineer for resolution. You will also work on the release side to help code automated tests that prevent bugs from being released live. As a Triage Engineer you will write functional code tests that will proactively find code problems helping to mitigate risk. You’ll also share your ideas and drive execution while helping to develop our QA discipline.
Responsibilities:
- Triage incoming bugs that couldn’t be solved by support
- Plan and execute fixes against problems received
- Build automated functional and regression testing
- Lead and support efforts to automate testing
- Create and maintain test plans for new and existing features
- Perform stress and load testing of applications
- Update team on status of release and communicate obstacles and testing risks
- Use modern infrastructure tools and platforms to automate our systems
- Solve challenging problems working with large dataset transformations
